A fantastic hike for close viewing of Grewingk Glacier. The trail is mostly level but is considered a strenuous day hike due to a length of 15 miles, starting at the Glacier Spit Trailhead, with a water taxi pick up at the Saddle Trailhead. As a multi-day adventure, it becomes moderate in difficulty and allows time for further exploration. There is great camping along the trail, especially where the trail passes the shore of the Glacier Lake
