A 25-minute water taxi cruise, visiting Gull Island seabird rookery puffins, cormorants, kittiwakes, sea otters & seals are common. Sometimes we see porpoises, sea lions, and whales.

The hike is moderate the first ½ mile, the remainder is easy, over a level glacial moraine opening to the Glacier Lake dotted with icebergs and Grewingk Glacier, surrounded by tall mountain peaks.

Receive shore side instructions and begin kayaking, on occasion Arctic Terns can be viewed as we navigate around icebergs paddling towards the impressive blue face of Grewingk Glacier. Stopping for lunch and a walk up for a grand view!

No experience is necessary!

Our double kayaks are stable, safe, roomy and a blast to paddle. Perfect for anyone who has never kayaked before.

The hike meeting the water taxi pick-up offers views of Halibut Cove & Kachemak Bay.
