Named for a community-based coalition that lead to the State purchasing 25-million acres of land threatened for clear-cut logging. The land is now part of Kachemak Bay State Park. This moderate 2-mile one way hike connects China Poot Bay to Halibut Cove Lagoon Public Dock with great tent camping, kayaking and access to China Poot Yurt on one end and great tent camping, kayaking and access to several Public Use Cabins at the Lagoon. Allow 3-6 hours round trip.
